Perlite & vermiculite

Perlite is lightweight and is often added to growing media to promote drainage and aeration. 

We carry bags ranging from 8qt to 4cf. Coarseness levels vary throughout the year depending on what is available to us.

Similar to perlite, vermiculite promotes aeration and drainage; however, it retains more moisture than perlite. Can also be used for storing tubers and rhizomes over the winter.
