Leca/Clay Pebbles
A standard substrate for hydroponic growing. Inert, pH neutral, porous & lightweight. Also beneficial for retaining water in soil blends and for improving drainage. Certain tropicals enjoy growing in straight leca. Common sizes include 10L, 25L, 40L & 50L..
Rockwool
Natural and reusable, rockwool is made by spinning minerals/rock and can be used as a standalone growing medium, in hydroponics, or blended with soil to increase water holding capacity and aeration. Small cubes also work well for seed starting or cuttings.
Small Cubes
Seedlings started in cubes are easily transplanted to larger cubes or into other growing mediums.
Sheets fit a standard 10x20 flat.
Loose Rockwool & Slabs
Used alone, or as an amendment to mixes.
Larger Blocks
Can be placed on top of a larger slab, or larger size blocks can be used to support plant growth through harvest.
